The use and maintenance of the elevator wire rope is effective maintenance of the wire rope after the installation of the elevator. During the operation of the elevator, check the running condition of the wire rope regularly, mainly check: the number of broken wires of the wire rope, the position of the wire rope and the broken wire; the diameter of the wire rope is thin; the tension of the wire rope is uniform; the lubrication and cleaning of the wire rope And rust conditions; wire rope head assembly, with or without elongation or abnormal conditions.

2. Observe the wear and deformation of the wire rope during the operation and confirm whether to replace the new rope. The phenomenon that the elevator wire rope suddenly breaks under normal working conditions is rare. The damage is generally formed in the long-term operation due to wear, bending fatigue, rust or external damage. Therefore, the abnormal phenomenon of the wire rope during operation is observed in time to avoid The necessary safety factors.

3. The condition of the wire rope in the rope groove, check whether the working surface of the rope groove is smooth, and whether the depth of the wire rope lying in the rope groove is consistent.

4. Inspection of the corrosion condition of the steel wire rope, the corrosion of the elevator wire rope will occur during use, the mechanical properties will be reduced, the diameter of the steel wire will become thinner, and the strands will loosen, resulting in brittle fracture. This fracture is an avalanche type fracture, which is more than the general broken wire. Or wear is more dangerous. Regular maintenance of lubricating oil is a way to prevent corrosion of the wire rope.
